The Samsung T260HD 26-inch (25.5-inch viewable) HDTV monitor looks more like artwork than a high-performance video display. It features revolutionary Touch of Color, a built-in DTV tuner, so you can watch both TV and HDTV, and 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for sharp images. The integrated 3W speakers deliver TruSurround Sounds to compliment the amazing images. Beautifully designed, the T260HD is unlike any monitor you’ve ever seen.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV Best deal. $330 for T260HD. $300 for T240HD. However, some will end up with T240HD could not display to 1920X1200. Beware. It is the firmware issue with Samsung. Search web to confirm and return for another one.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV I'm highly impressed with this monitor. Before I decided to purchase it I had looked at a Hanspree 26" at a store and the picture looked blown up. I figured that since the 26" was running the same resolution that 24" run at, that any 26" would have a stretched picture. For some reason I decided to take the plunge on this Samsung T260HD and couldn't be happier! The picture quality both in computer mode and TV mode are amazing. I was worried that the TV picture would look stretched since it was taking a 1080 tall picture and stretching it to 1200 tall, but you can't tell that it's being stretched at all and there are no black bars. I honestly could not be happier with the quality of this monitor. It looks great with the touch of color and it performs beautifully.
The only thing I could even list as a con is that it takes a few seconds to start up, but it's really not that long and everything else is amazing. I did play with the colors a bit when I got it, but it only needed a couple tweaks to produce an absolutely stunning HD picture from a $20 over-the-air antenna I bought at Best Buy.
If you can find a good deal on this monitor as I did from PCConnection, BUY IT!

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This monitor worked well with a new computer, and I've had no problems. Windows 7 looks extremely beautiful on it, and I love the picture of the cute fish which was on my desktop after installing Windows 7. I am a pro photographer, so I really appreciate this good quality Samsung monitor!

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This monitor is the best value for your $$. You can't get so many things in a single package for this price. PROS: 1080p resolution, tons of in/outputs, sleek design (TOC), 5.1 channel sound, HDTV Tuner, and much more screen real estate (25.5"). CONS: These things (which I think are not missing) could make this product ideal are: a better TN Panel with more darker contrast ratio (50,000:1) for more deeper blacks. Picture In Picture (PIP) feature, a USB port for playing media files.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This is a perfect monitor for the home office / guest room. It does full HD (1080i) and is a really excellent for extending laptop displays - with both VGA and DVI connections. The initial scan of channels is a bit slow, but it found all of the Clear QAM channels from our cable provider. For the price I paid ($330), it is a fantastic deal. The only downside is that the speakers sound a bit tinny.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV I purchased it during the sale ($350 total), and I do not regret purchasing this. I use this primarily as a monitor, and it is great. Haven't used it for TV much, so i don't have an opinion on that. The sound is fine for computer use, though I'm sure it sounds not as good to people who are used to Theater Surround Sound.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV If you were lucky enough to get this for ~$350, you are extremely fortunate. I don't doubt that some received defective screens, hence there are always some poor reviews, but this thing outperforms any monitor I've ever had. The color is amazing and the TV picture quality is fantastic in HD (mediocre for standard def). It's very attractive looking and thin, blu ray movies are incredible. My only complaints are that you need an adapter to wall mount it and it hasa very limited vertical viewing area, regardless of what the specs say. This is especially true if you are below it--it becomes very dim and brighter when you are above it looking down. Also speakers are pretty average, not a major concern though. Very pleased

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV For being a 26" TOC series this was a great buy. It has tons of inputs except the SD inputs. One issue I had was wall mounting, i'm still waiting for the adapter so I can wall mount it. Without the adapter you cannot mount this to the wall. Other than that very pleased with this buy.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This is an excellent display. 2 HDMI ports, excellent size. I have it as a 2nd monitor and TV for my office. My only complaint is the power button is a touch button on the case, I have frequently hit it by accident, shuffling things on my desk.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV I have had this for several weeks now. It's been a good buy for me both as a TV and an Extra monitor for the laptop. Great looking and excellent picture quality. The only drawback would be the sound quality if you have to be picky about a product. But I guess this is not surprising because there's really not much of space for a impressive sound unit...

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV It would be even better if Samsung provided a monitor profile for a Mac. Out of the box it had a strong blue tint that was very concerning. After some calibration, it looks GREAT!

Pros: image quality, Stylish Design, value for money Cons: not wall mountable, no composite or s-video input
Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This Samsung monitor has a great and sharp picture when used as a computer monitor and as an HDTV, but why would they make it not wall mountable? They should assume that some people are going to want to wall mount it. Another thing you might want to take into consideration is that there is no composite or s-video input on the monitor so you HAVE TO use this monitor with a high definition source. The bottom line is that if you are going to use this on your desk or on a TV stand, and with a high definition source such as a Blu-Ray player or PC with a DVI or HDMI output, I would highly recommend this monitor. If you need something wall mountable, or something to use with a VCR or something with no HDMI or DVI output, this is obviously not for you.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV I replaced an old Dell LCD monitor with the Samsung T260HD this past week. This monitor has good fit and finish and the material quality is light years better than my old Dell. The exterior looks fantastic and goes well with my black Macbook.
The picture quality is pretty good, except the vertical viewing angle is not very good. If i sit a bit too close and I look at the bottom of the screen the color looks a bit washed out. However, sitting a bit further back and looking straight on, the color and brightness are as good as any display.
The TV tuner also works well and it is very easy to set up. There are a lot of different settings that can be changed to fine tune the picture quality as well. Out of the box picture setting was very bad, as the contrast was set too high. However, turning down the contrast makes the picture look great.
There are a few people who complain about the touch sensor power button, but you just have to use your whole thumb to touch it.
Overall, it was a great value, but it performs like a far more expensive display.
