It worked out of the box and has been operating perfectly for the three weeks i've had it. The screen quality is great although i have not done any side by side comparisons with other monitors of the same size. i'm not a gamer, so some of its features may be lost on me. i do enjoy the high res and wide format. this was an upgrade for me from a 19" dell monitor.

Physical placement on the desk took more time than installing the driver and configuring two displays on Windows XP.
Have not yet tried the HDMI 1080p feature yet, but Viewsonic makes excellent monitors so I am not worried about the clarity or quality.
As for sound quality I have an existing THX 5.1 setup that outperforms the accompanying internal speakers.
I like what I see and have no regrets - excellent price for this refurb'ed unit - at time of writing new displays with same features cost around $220-$230 and dropping. I saved 18% purchasing this refurb'ed display w/o tax or shipping.
As for the PCC Customer Service - the 1st monitor I received had horizontal/pixelation issues toward the top 1/2 inch of the display rendering that portion of the screen useless. It was promptly replaced no questions asked.

Reviews & Ratings for Factory Refurbished 24" VX2433WM LCD Monitor Price is good. Appearance is suitable to accompany with a PS3. Performance of TN panel cannot be compared to VA or even IPS but it is enough for normal use.
Problem: Sound can only be changed in a very deep option and the buttons are not easy to use.
It will auto scan the input signal and then light the screen but it doesn't work well. When you turn on the screen after a long time off with the same signal input, it may not recognize your input and seems need a new stimulation.
