Faster is just the beginning. The new MacBook features Snow Leopard v10.6, the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, larger hard drives, and 2GB of memory standard. A durable polycarbonate shell, a vibrant glossy display, and a low-profile keyboard make for an all-around experience as impressive as MacBook itself. It also picks up considerable speed with Intel’s next-generation Core 2 Duo processor, so you can run your applications faster and more efficiently than ever before. It’s the same does-everything-you-want notebook but better.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive It's thinner than my old iBook G4, has a brighter screen, is waaaaayyyy faster, has a more responsive trackpad, has a nifty magnetic attachment for the power cord, and appears to have great battery life.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive We had our last iBook for 9 years, and only toward the end was it clearly time to replace it. We scrounged our AmEx points + $500 and bought the 2.13ghz macbook. It's all we could hope, and more. We intend to ditch our cable tv and go hulu/netflix/etc., and the macbook is more than capable. I'd heard some horror stories re. streaming netflix over mac, but even wirelessly the macbook has no problem with netflix streaming. The latest iLife suite is mindblowing (at least for someone used to 9 year old software). Working with photos, home video, etc. is so easy, it's just a joy. So far battery life isn't the best, but I've been experimenting with turning off bluetooth and airport when I don't need them and it seems to help. I don't feel like I'm approaching the promised 5+ hours, but it's early days yet. That's the only quibble I can think of. I'm even using NeoOffice instead of Microsoft Office, with promising results. I'm confident we have a laptop that we'll love for years to come.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive Sixth Mac I've owned, 4th Mac laptop, and my first Intel Mac. I've had it for only a month so far, but it's shaping up nicely. Bumped up the hard disk right away to a 500-GB Seagate so at long last all of my iTunes collection sits on an internal drive instead of an external disk. My only complaint thus far is that the internal fan comes on a little more frequently than I would like when running processor-intensive tasks, but I suppose that comes with the territory. The main culprit has been some fancy screensaver programs (mainly BOINC), so I made some adjustments on how they use the processor and that seems to have helped a great deal. Nice screen, lighter than the iBook G4 it replaced, and speedy. Satisfied thus far.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive My favorite part of my new mac is that i don't have to worry about viruses slowing me down! That's amazing. I had a dell, but it got over 300 cases of spyware. it cost the same amout as my new mac, but it only lasted for 2 years! i am looking forward to using my mac through college, and not having to worry about it.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive Having used many apple products before, I can confidently say that my MacBook was definitely a product I don't regret purchasing. I have been familiar with Apple computers for quite some time now, even though I had taken a break for a year or so, but the switch back was easy. I could compare it to something, like finding the right hair-style (weird, I know.) It may take you a while to find the one you like, and are comfortable with, but once you've found it it becomes easier to manage and is suitable for your style. That's just how I feel about Macs; plenty of styles to choose from depending on your personality. Once you find the one you love, you couldn't be happier!
It's pretty easy to use, although not the easiest, but it takes very little time to get used to. Definitely recommend this to the person that loves all things art: music, photography, cinematography, etc. I myself am an aspiring photographer and have to say I love the screen and how it displays my photos, as well as how easier I found it to edit them. Another very lovable thing is all the wonderful programs it comes with. That can safe a little money.
The only thing I was disappointed in was, as mentioned before, the heat and battery life of the computer. But, to me at least, those two things don't stop my from loving every bit of my MacBook. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing one, and you must try one out for yourself!

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive I'm a first time Mac user. To be honest, I never really got into the whole Apple platform. But I've been trying to get away from using the Windows platform ALL THE TIME. I use XP, Vista, and the most recent Windows 7. And I knew it was time for a change. My sister got her first Macbook Pro when she started college 2 years ago, and she tells me that she's forgotten everything about Windows, which was my cue to get a Macbook for myself to fulfill my inner geek curiosity. As a first time user of Mac's, this Macbook deal is great. OS X is an amazing operating system- a lot more different than windows, where you don't have to stare at the "Start" button or the Windows Flag all the time. The dock is just brilliant as it allows you to remove or add icons of your choice. And I like navigating through the Macintosh HD. It takes a little time to learn, but that's what I like about it.
I love all the programs that came with OS X, especially GarageBand. Being a musician, I am able to record all my instruments with ease and the built in microphone picks up the sound so clearly, it's amazing. Other programs that I like are the iLife suite, which is the equivalent to Microsoft Office. Speaking of Microsoft Office, I installed the Mac version just because I just Office a lot on the Windows side. I even installed Parallels, which allows you to run the Windows OS in a virtual environment. I installed XP and it works great, knowing that there is a window open on the Mac OS, running the Windows OS! Amazing!
The overall look and feel of a Mac has taught me to appreciate the Apple platform. I still continue to use Windows, but now I have the Apple OS as well, and it's nice to see a little change from one operating system to the next. I definitely recommend this to curious Mac users. It's worth the money and the specifications. I know you will not be disappointed.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/160GB/SuperDrive This Macbook went to my daughter. She upgraded from an iBook to the Macbook - and she even worked to pay 1/2. She loves it. It is her baby. Fast, easy to use, powerful. It's a great, great computer. Battery life could be a bit better but it is a great computer.
