Faster is just the beginning. The new MacBook features the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, larger hard drives, and 2GB of memory standard. A durable polycarbonate shell, a vibrant glossy display, and a low-profile keyboard make for an all-around experience as impressive as MacBook itself. It also picks up considerable speed with Intel’s next-generation Core 2 Duo processor, so you can run your applications faster and more efficiently than ever before. It’s the same does-everything-you-want notebook but better.

When friends found out the make of the system I have purchased. I was told by one of the friends who previously owned one That the cover will "crack " frequently . Well await that day .

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/120GB/SuperDrive I recently ordered the mac book and it is awesome. My computer had vista on it and it was like a bug picking through and destroying anything in it's path. The one thing I love about mac is that there are no bugs. Its so nice to have a reliable computer.

Pros: battery life, bright screen, easy to use, Fast/High Speed, Memory, size & weight, value for money Cons: sharp edges on the plastic, noisy keyboard that is harder to type on
Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/120GB/SuperDrive After using a MacBook Pro for 2 years, I was a little leery to move down to a MacBook, but for the price I had to give it a try! After just a few days of having the new MacBook, I am so pleased. It preforms almost as if it were my MacBook Pro from '07. The specs are fantastic and the the price for just over $900 is incredible.
My only complaint is that the keyboard is a bit harder to type on and the edges of the plastic are a little sharp on the wrists, but if you can take these two things, then this is the computer for you!

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/120GB/SuperDrive My background: Computer science major, software developer and computer enthusiast.
I currently own this macbook and enjoy two aspects of it. From a OS point of view, I could not be happier. I stick to windows for Gaming mostly, but enjoy unix based environments for programming. OS X is a very strong OS with great features and capabilities which allows not only the developer minded, but as well as those whom wish for a point and click interface to interact with it in the manner they so desire. As for construction of the physical laptop, the case is very sturdy. Plastic casing does not feel cheap, nor is flimsy. Having dropped mine three - four times I have relatively few scratches, and only one indent in the casing. The screen is one of the best that I have personally used (I also had the white ibook G4, and use a lenovo T60 for work). They keyboard is in my mind, a great upgrade from the G4 ibooks. the keys are quiet and I have found a slight increase in my words typed per minute while using it. The tactile response is also great. The webcam feature is great for those looking to utilize ichat, or skype. Wireless is also great, and simple to set up and connect. I have never personally had any problems with connecting to the internet, or creating a peer-to-peer network. To add the other side to this review, I would say that having multiple users logged in at the same time has the same effect on performance that it would have on any other system, and that is that it gets bogged down. Having two users logged in simultaneously, do not expect leaps and bounds in processing power, but it will play your music and surf the web. last complaint is that the screen, for my picky self, became dirty quickly, having a soft cloth on hand at all times for myself was a must.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13" White/2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/2GB DDR2/120GB/SuperDrive This is my first Mac computer/laptop that I have used. Yes, I am what you might call a "switcher" because I have been using Windows PC/laptop for years. The Mac OS does take some time to get use to but it is well worth it. The Macbook is perfect for students like myself to carry around on campus and in classrooms. I have spotted many of these at colleges. I picked the older model of Macbook because I like the shell look compared to the newer Aluminum body. I also feel that the Polycarbonate shell body helps reduce the heat a bit when sitting on my lap. I am glad that Apple decided to update this Macbook with the new nVidia graphic chip. I highly recommend this laptop to basic and advance users looking for value.
