Reviews & Ratings for iPod Touch 16GB (Sept 08) 2nd Generation I wish I could give this a perfect rating but I've had a problem syncing photos from iPhoto.iTunes would shut down when trying to sync photos even though a older ipod video would sync fine to the same library.So after initial frustration and a trip to the Apple genius bar the problem is a few "corrupt" photos and when identified and removed the sync can be completed.But,why does the old player sync just fine?The genius says the Touch is formated differently.What a stain on what is a otherwise interesting and capable little device. I've found the "keyboard" to be very workable and I can even watch video on this size screen.It really is a very small computer. I will have to be careful about new pictures because any more "corrupted" photos will shut iTunes down and I need to be able to identify the bad files.It's do-able but the problem has taken the shine off ..........

Reviews & Ratings for iPod Touch 16GB (Sept 08) 2nd Generation I got very good price from pcconnection, I ordered two of these ipod and one of them had very poor display and screen issues, i spent lot of time to figure out whats wrong finally I took it to local Apple store and they replaced with brand new, Apple has great service!! This device had manufacturing defect. The other ipod was good and working. I have another issue with itunes, it does not get artwork sometimes and also i get confused with the way it re-arranges my existing mp3 files in computer.

They can access the internet through our home wireless which frees up the main computer, the touch has external speakers so we have no more batteries to buy for their previous portable speakers. They downloaded some of the available apps and now have tons of games and art available at their fingertips. The 16gb also gives them tons of storage for their music and videos. Although I tend to discourage too much technology, I'm surprised at how much the ipod touch encourages their creativity in different ways than I would have previously imagined.

My only complaint is I did not receive the polishing cloth that comes with the Ipod. This is most likely not PCC's fault and I wrote them about it just today so they have not had a chance to respond.
