I had been looking at this monitor, Hanns 28", and the non-HD version of this monitor and have no complaints with my choice. With the included software I easily setup my correct colors. Games look beautiful. No ghosting. No dead pixels. I have not tried the TV portion but have heard good things with it as well. For $330 (no MIR) shipped you can't beat the deal PCConnection has. All other places were easily $50-$100 more. First time PCConnection customer and am VERY happy. Great overall experience. Will buy from again.

There were no frozen pixels, shipping was fast, and the box was in perfect shape when i got it. Took about 5 minutes to set up, and I was up and running. I don't know what some of the reviews were talking about when they say the stand is hard to set up, those people must not have any thumbs. It slides right in...nothing to it at all. I can also use this as a TV which is a great feature. I am an IT professional for a small business and I am on the computer all day. This picture is amazing (it's a Samsung, what else would you expect?) The only draw back (which is why i did not give it 5 stars across the board) is that the picture is not so great from side angles, but it's a monitor so you're looking straight on anyway. Great product...thanks PCConnection!

The picture quality of DVD's and Dish Network through the HDMI inputs was great but the monitor color configuration was a nightmare. I think I spent about 8 hours trying to adjust the colors and after all that time still could not get this blue tint out of all the whites. The veritical viewing angle was also poor when used as a monitor due to the size, you had to be dead center not to notice some color changes toward the top of the screen. Also the very reflective surface was a big distraction when using this as a monitor, I couldn't get used to seeing images from the monitor reflected off the edges.

I have reg cable going to it, so it's a subpar signal. The HD looks very good for this size of TV (I also have a LN46B650 in the family room 20' away, which is significantly better, but...) SD looks marginal to good, but is fine for a Kitchen. Sound is adequate as the 'hidden' speakers point down and a little behind the TV. I have it wall mounted which reflects the sound very nicely.
I've not used this as a computer monitor, but from the reviews I've read it's only OK, not great. I have a 22" Samsung on my computer that is only a monitor, and it rocks!
The picture quality is good, but I'm not as thrilled with it as I am it's big brother in the family room. But for a good, 1080p 26" for $340 delivered, it is well worth it.
Oh yeah, get the wall mount for $30 online. It slides into the TV as the regular stand does, then gives you 100x100 VESA. There is NOT A VESA MOUNT on the TV out of the box...Mount it to the wall BEFORE you slide the TV on-top of it. Once the wall mount clicks into the TV, it's very difficult to get it out.

The only small gripe I have is that there's only one digital output(optical) and it causes my Z-5500 speakers to turn off when watching HDTV. It can be fixed via optical->coax converter though I have yet to try. Excellent service from PC Connection as well; the monitor arrived in one piece with no dead pixels. A great buy overall!

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This is a great huge monitor for your computer that also has a TV tuner. I will admit I was somewhat hesitant deciding to purchase this but the excellent price here made my decision for me. It is easy to use, comes with cables and a remote and you can tell it is a high quality screen which makes the price paid even that much more great. I upgraded from a gateway 24" (FHD2400) and I would say this is better in every way with the exception of lack of tilt/height adjustment, and a glossy screen. Both of those I miss rather much however. From my experience a glossy screen really helps out clarity and color crispness. (previous 2 LCDs were glossy, and I've seen many glossy finishes) I have gotten over those thanks to all the pros of the unit. Thanks to the TV tuner I now have expanded cable instead of just limited cable; it picks up channels really well. One final thing I will mention, even though this a TN type of LCD panel, it has great viewing angles side to side, up to down is rather good too.
