Pros: reasonable price Cons: could use a longer usb cable
Reviews & Ratings for 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard drive (Designed by Neil Poulton) (See item 8515324 for triple interface) I like the look of the Lacie External Hard Drive. It is simple, yet futuristically stylish. The blue LED adds a nice touch to this quiet and efficient drive. I can't believe that it has 1 Terabyte of storage for a price that is extremely reasonable. We have four computers at home which are now all backed up on the Lacie drive. Great product!

Cons: sometimes it disconnects for no known reason
Reviews & Ratings for 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard drive (Designed by Neil Poulton) (See item 8515324 for triple interface) My computer was acting strangely a little while ago. That's when I decided it was time to back up everything on it in case it died. The LaCie 1T external hard drive was a great buy. With all that memory, I could copy my whole hard drive onto it, in 8 hours, and have it back up new or changed files every night when I quit working. It works pretty quietly, though louder than my Mac Mini, which only makes a sound if I insert a CD/DVD. The size is small and it was simple to connect. I have run into the problem of the hard drive falling off the system occasionally, for no known reason. Then I have to turn it off and turn it back on and hope the computer sees it again.

Pros: best thing that happened to my computer!, little blue light flashes when it is working., easy to switch from /to other computers., fast. very fast!, months of hard usage very dependable. Cons: it shows the dust. that's all i can find with it
Reviews & Ratings for 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard drive (Designed by Neil Poulton) (See item 8515324 for triple interface) How could I resist buying this? Being in the fun graphics part of computing, and editor of The Family History News booklets, I needed lots of hard drive space, and this was the answer. It is fast, dependable, easy to install, movable from computer to to other computers/Laptops. Also the color matches my computer. What power lies on my computer desk! Takes up very little room, I have two, with one stacked upon the other. I consider these as my most important tools. I installed loads of Clip Art (I'm talking over 40 disks (CD's & DVD's of purchased clip art, and lots of clip art that we designed and made ourselves. It isn't even 1/8th full yet. Dependable? I don't even know it is there. Did I tell you how quit it is? ...as I said... I don't even know it's there!

Reviews & Ratings for 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard drive (Designed by Neil Poulton) (See item 8515324 for triple interface) Very good price point. Looks sleek, but only works lying flat. Fairly loud, but auto shuts down quickly when done.
