Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black When I saw a 26" monitor for under $300, I was skeptical but gave it a try. After 3 weeks, I bought a second one for my office at work.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black Awesome monitor, great colors and image quality. Did a side-by-side comparison at work with an Asus 24 inch. A graphic designer comes by and says the Westinghouse one had more true colors.
Only cons I've noticed so far is the base is a little weak and wobbly (sideways), and the on screen menu controls are awful.
Speakers sound decent though, slightly above average computer speaker quality.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black No dead or stuck pixels. Huge, clear and bright image. Construction is on the cheap side, but for the price this is an excellent value. It performs its core function well at a great price. The controls and on screen menu are a little clunky, but once everything is set you don't need to fool with that. I am not using the built in speakers but did notice that lowering the brightness from the factory default of 100 caused an audible hum from the speakers. Muting the speakers in the setup fixed that.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black Clear, sharp, fast, flicker-free, and attractive - these features make using the monitor a pleasure. I enjoyed the Westinghouse 22" monitor I purchased several years ago, but this new 26" one offers even more control and faster response. I will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and clients.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black 26" L2610NW- Westinghouse - the 26-inch I love this monitor I really didn't know that a couple of inches would make this much difference. I Have two monitor hooked up to my computer and use this one to watch my videos that I'm making it in real time. I'm finding I use it more and more for spread sheets and photo editing. I can't tell you how the speaker work as I have never used them.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black First one showed random designs of pretty colors. PC Connection paid to ship it back to them, and shipped its replacement before they got the first one back. Second one worked perfectly. When it works, it's a great monitor, and PC Connection's service was unbeatable.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black 1) I need one specific feature from any monitor I use and here this LCD disappointed me. It does not support ANY extended resolutions higher than native one which is total surprise, since it is latest design LCD. All my previous 24", 22", 19" and even 8 years old 14" DELL laptop LCDs support up 3800x2400, 2560x1600 or at least up to 2024x1536 virtual resolutions. And BTW that's default feature for all videocards. I open a lot of windows simultaneously, so just that LCD fault makes this monitor useless to me and I think may be to sell it for what I bought it. Let me know if you are interested. Or I may be I will leave it for kid's games, I don't know for sure yet 2) Another somewhat unpleasant surprise - buzzing. Never heard of that before in any other brand. The monitor has 3 backlit modes and on the darkest two (Text and specifically Economy) it starts to buzz like transformers. Barely audible but you hear it if you are behind the monitor or if you put your ears close to the monitor's top where ventilation holes are. Not for small room close to the wall probably. Good is that it does not buzz in bright Picture Mode while Economy is too dark and practically useless. 3) I planned to buy 3 these LCDs for 3-monitor configuration but controls are at the right, which makes this sort of inconvenient 4) Picture quality, angles, black level are OK for me. It's not for Photoshop artists probably but still it's good enough. I am sure 99% of people will not distinguish this LCD from 2-3 times more expensive ones if not tell where specifically to look at (87% vs 89% color gamut or grazing viewing angles). 5) In general, given its price $250, it would be great monitor if it supported extended resolutions. Will ask Westinghouse Tech Support if we can fix that with some sort of firmware upgrade.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black My previous monitor was a Dell 17" 16:9 with a built-in tuner that I've used for about 6 years. It has served me well, and delivered very good image quality, including HD (up to 720p). But recently I decided to get rid of the cable and the big screen that dominated my small living room. My viewing habits tend toward PBS, a few network shows, and Netflix - and recently I've been watching lots of (mostly older) Netflix ($9/mo) movies streamed via web on the computer together with the one-at-a-time DVDs. In order to continue getting HD with the transition from cable to broadcast, I needed a digital HD tuner - and got a Samsung DTB-H260F. That took care of the HD, and gave me several additional digital broadcast stations to boot (for example, in Boston there are 5 different digital PBS broadcast signals as well as a couple of stations that broadcast multiple signals, e.g., Universal Pictures' "THIS" movie network). Since half my viewing is Netflix via web, and now that I had a HD receiver, a high-resolution monitor made more sense than a TV. I did a lot of online research for large monitors keeping price in mind, and discovered this one. I had a few reservations given the mixed reviews, but reading between the lines it seemed that it would make sense for me, and if not as a last resort I could always return it. As others have noted, there is no remote, and the control buttons on the side take a little bit of getting used to, but now that I have it adjusted as I want it, the routine of switching back and forth from computer to TV input is quick and simple. The picture quality is excellent in both VGA and HDMI modes, and there is no ghosting in highest resolution while playing Far Cry 2 (a pretty demanding game) on the computer. One negative: the monitor could not properly render 1920 x 1200 in HDMI mode using the DVI to HDMI cable provided. I updated my video card driver to the latest version, but it made no difference. That one negative is mitigated by the fact that it performs admirably in VGA mode (provided you use a cable rated for that resolution). All in all, I'm very happy with the image quality. Once you remove the stickers from the bezel, even its appearance is downright elegant, especially mounted on the wall (I purchased a Telehook wall mount, also from PC Connection). At the time I was searching, I believe this was the best option for me - combining the largest viewable area (25.5") with the highest resolution (1920 x 1200) and the best HD performance (up to 1080p). I'm quite happy with this monitor so far... PS - I skipped the speakers and went directly to my computer's inexpensive 5.1 speakers.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black If using VGA connection monitor is plug and play. If using DVI/HDMI setup is somewhat difficult. Still unable to view at 1920 X 1200. Possibly because of the poor quality DVI/HDMI cable that was included in the box. Humming of monitor is driving me nuts.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black This monitor is a good buy. Bought to replace my 22" monitor. There is no comparison this Westy beats it hands down.. One warning though make sure your video card is good enough to bring out the monitors full potential or you might blame the wrong hardware for lack of preformance. A monitor is only as good as it video card source and computers components!
I am very pleased with my purchase. It preforms well in fast paced games..No ghosting that I have noticed.Excellent picture once you get it adjusted to your liking. Way too bright out of the box and need to lower contrast dramaticlly...
I don't use speakers rather headphones so can't really evaluate the speakers on this monitor...
Have to also commend PC Connection for their courteous updates on shipment and also first class service! Just hope it lasts as you never know with electronics...

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black I am more than satisfied with my monitor. The screen looks outstanding and it definitely gives me the space needed to do my work. The 2 negatives that I have are: 1) You can't adjust the monitor as far as moving it upwards or downwards and 2) The color, light and other adjustment buttons on the side are a bit difficult to maneuver because they're not in front but on the side.
Other than that it's a strong buy.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black Absolutely stunning quality. I've always been a huge Westinghouse fan, and this newest one is no exception. Right out of the box, it was absolutely beautiful. Playing games in 1900x1200 on a 26" monitor cannot be described in words.
Like other reviews though, the monitor was VERY bright right out of the box. I manually adjusted the contrast/brightness from 100% down to around 20%, and then used nTune to fine-tune it. Took a good 30 minutes, but so incredibly awesome now. HIGHLY recommended.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" L2610NW-SP Analog/Digital Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black Pros. 1900x1200 and 1080p ready. Ive used it for my computer, and then decided to use it specifically for my PS3. The integrated sound is also surprisingly decent.
Cons. It does have a humming noise when the picture has a dark picture on the screen. When i started using it as a HD tv source it doesnt bother me as i have surround sound. Also, the blacks are average, but what LCD doesnt have average blacks? Those 10,000 contrast ratios you see on Tv's are DYNAMICS. They hurt the eyes if you use the dynamics all the time. If you want solid blacks get plasma. Lastly the buttons are TINY and on the side of the monitor's right. difficult to navigate at first.
