There are no instructions really in the package - you have to go on-line. It works very well if you have an apple computer. My boyfriend had trouble trying to synch up itunes with his pc - it didn't work. Maybe there is a way to do it - I have friends who have a pc and they also use the ipod touch, but anyway, my boyfriend got his to work by using my mac. We mainly got this so we could access the internet without having to pay a monthly fee for an iphone or other phone based internet usage. My bf is extremely happy with it and I am pleased as well.
