This product is something of a 'tweener. A little bigger and a lot faster than netbooks. And a little slower and a lot smaller and lighter than traditional laptops. It tends to run hotter than a netbook as well. Mine came loaded with 4GB of RAM while most netbooks top out at one or two GB. On the other hand, it has a battery life of less than three hours, better than most laptops but less than many netbooks which can approach eight hours for as little as half the price. Overall it is a good value for people who find normal laptops to be too heavy and netbooks to be too slow.
