Reviews & Ratings for Ideapad S10e Atom N270 1.60GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/BT/WC/6-cell/10.1" WSVGA/XPH/Black We purchased this system to replace an aging laptop, and we wanted something small and lightweight that can be carried around the house. The S10e definitely fit the bill. It was easy to unpack, launch, and add to the home network.
We primarily use this system for emails and to surf the web, and it is more than powerful enough for those details.
Cons: Screen resolution could be better, but unsurprising for a small laptop.
I'm personally not a fan of the touchpad, and it seemed more awkward than most to use. However it was easy to add a USB wireless mouse.
The "preloaded programs" are supposed to allow you to bypass booting the computer to the operating system, but I felt the interface was awkwardly designed and really didn't add much value to the machine.
Overall, a great system for those who want the ultimate portable.
