I was torn between the iPod Touch and the Classic iPod 120 gb but opted for the Touch 32 gb because I liked its mobile internet capability. When it finally arrived and I fired it up I was blown away with the color and sharpness of the screen--as well as its size. And, I love that you only have to touch the screen rather than using the click wheel. That said, I've had to develop a delicate touch as my fingers are large and whilst typing an Internet address can hit the wrong key. :o( Connecting to the Internet is quick and pages load fast--not as fast as on my iMac but pretty fast for something that fits in the palm of your hand. Sound quality is, as with my old iPod, excellent. I am quite satisfied with the iPod Touch and would buy it again and recommend it to all. One bit of advice: buy a case with it to protect it. Besides being a wonderfully-functional piece of gear it is lovely and you wouldn't want to get it all scratched.

The 2G iTouch is very easy to use and allows instant access to a WAP without fuss or hassle. With some free software downloaded onto my p.c I have now converted my videos onto it and have also downloaded & converted Youtube songs too, Trufone enables to to do VOIP with the additional new Apple earphone+mic thats just been released and the VNC app (free) from the iTunes store allows me to remotely connect to my p.c from any wifi hotspot too.

I bought the 32GB model as I have a large music library, along with podcasts and some video. I specifically bought this latest iPod so I could take it on a trip to Asia, and it sure came in handy for those long waits at the airport between flights.
Apple's taken great care with the design of the new Touch, and the quality shows throughout the unit. I like the new volume buttons and the small external speaker for some applications.
Of course, the App Store is amazing, and I must have downloaded over 40 apps, mostly free on the first day I hooked up to iTunes.
I like the WI-FI feature, although the hardest part is finding a public hotspot when roaming around, but at home it is great and works perfectly with my WI-FI router.
The sound and video quality are outstanding, and the battery life is OK, but if you watch a lot of movies and don't turn off the WI-FI when not in use, you may run out of power much faster. To deal with battery life, I purchased an external portable battery extender, and it seems to resolve this issue.
Anyhow, if you have been waiting to purchase an MP3 and video player, this is a great unit that is light, stylish, easy to use and full of great multi-media capabilities. Get one!

I got rid of my HP IPAQ and use this as a PDA, and total entertainment center. Videos, photos, music all play easily and flawlessly. Color rendition is excellent. The new volume control is a plus. Wifi works well and the APP STORE adds the functionality to make this a real winner.
