Not anymore! This bad boy comes with XP Pro installed, GB NIC, and with 3 years warranty. Perfect for user to run basic office works. Added 1 more 2GB memory with total 3GB. Run most of the MS software and can even handle some graphics program like Photoshop. The IBM logo background looks bad and change it to a regular background. Will continue recommend to my customers instead of low end DELL.

I was a little unhappy with all the "stuff" that Lenovo preloaded on the machines but that is pretty easily unistalled so generally can't complain about that. Performance seems to be handling the workload well.

Unbeatable for a basic workstation that is hopefully made to last. The machine is surprisingly fast when subjected to an office suite, six tabs in Firefox, and eight tabs in IE. Gigabit Ethernet is a bonus. Few junk programs compared to other systems. The free ThinkVantage suite that comes preloaded was not for me and was removed.

It was as advertised. It arrived quickly, was easy to set up, and is performing perfectly. It was a plus that it came loaded with XP for the OS, although it also came with a VISTA disc should I ever decide to use that (I don't think so.) The size is perfect for my home office set up. I also appreciated that it didn't come with lots of needless software loaded on it. A very good buy for a basic desktop that will do everything I need it to do.

I only wish Lenovo didn't put all that junk software on there, but no big deal.
