Pretty easy to put together, but it did NOT come with a manual - had to download that. Also it did not come with a USB cord, and there was no mention that that was needed. For a novice, this was indeed a problem. When I called MacConnection I was told that I had to buy one...other than that, not so bad installing. It is a FAST machine and doesn't make all that much noise. Pleased with the price and features. Ink is very easy to install...there is a LOT of it.

I looked at their reviews and found them to be favorable ....so I took a chance. BEST decision I could have made!!!!
Awesome price....service....warranty...and delivery time was unbelievable.....free delivery and we got it the NEXT day!!!! I was in shock!!!!

This printer does the job very well. I also needed to not run out of ink every 2 weeks. So far, one ink (cyan) ran out but I am hoping it was a fluke. The others are chugging along well. The nice surprise was that the photo prints are also of very decent quality -for the average photos they look just as good as my inkjet photos. So I've very pleased. Nice to have two trays with large capacity. Easy to set up. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't give you ink levels automatically. But otherwise a great printer at the right price.

I replaced a nearly new color laserjet printer after I saw how much each toner cartridge was going to cost and did the math. The ink tanks are much cheaper than laser toner or inkjet printheads all the time. With the duplexer and extra paper tray, it is a big beast that will plow through your major print jobs without a hiccup. I own two of these for my color printing and one black and white laser for quick B&W printing, and am throughly satisfied. Mac and Airport compatible if that is important to you
