Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT Excellent system. This is one of the best in a long string of Macintosh computers that I have owned, and a bargain at that. With Apple's short product update cycle, you can always save money by buying the last rather than the most recent iteration of whatever Mac model you are interested in, without any significant sacrifice of performance. This computer was purchased for my wife, and thus the glossy screen is not a problem. I use my Macs for processing and printing photographic images, and really prefer the matte screen. Too bad apple has chosen to discontinue the matte screen in its macbook and imac systems.

Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT A Mac guy since '86, so I wasn't surprised that the new iMac was up and running, on our home wi-fi network in 10 minutes or that it looked great. I was surprised at how fast and powerful it's been for the allegedly low-end Mac. The 20" screen is big, bright and clean, and it's been running almost steadily since we got it, handling our home business graphics, accounting and website. I can't recommend it highly enough for all-purpose home or business computing.

Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT I fall in love with my computer every time I use it. The iMac is the best computer on the market and always has been! I've been a Mac user since the mid 90's and have NEVER looked back at a PC again. Nobody would ever convince me that a PC is a better product. The iMac is totally professional, sleek and sexy. The graphics quality is paramount over any PC ever built. If you know anything about computers than there is no question that Mac's rule.
Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT I originally got the 24" but returned it. The screen was just too large for the desk I had. Although it would be nice to use it as a second DVD player for when I'm in bed, the 20" is much more manageable. I love the size and the performance on everything has been as expected or better. The only issue I have is with the screen quality. It definitely gets lighter at the bottom vs. the top. I took it to the Apple store and they said there is no guarantee the replacement part will be better. The Genius recommended waiting a few months until enough complaints are logged for Apple to switch vendors on the replacement part. Tweak the advanced display settings and you can make it workable.

Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT For a consumer-level desktop, the iMac has you covered. From its sleek lines and high performance, you'll be working in style with this desktop. The included keyboard is nice, too.
Looking forward to an updated version next year with i7 processor, though...

Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT I've been a PC user since the begining and ran thru a tutorial on this iMac and was blown away. Ordered from MacConnection on the recommendation of my wife's boss and was very satisfied with the speedy delivery. She took it out of the box before I could get to it and had it running in no time. I've been raving about this to my PC friends ever since.

Pros: fast easy to use beautiful screen good price
Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT Very easy to use and extremely fast!!! The PC's I've used in homes, offices, and at school are rediculously slow compared to apple mac's. I highly recommend this computer to everyone who wants a computer that will just work with ease and work fast with no problems. I don't know why anyone would waiste their money on a PC but I've heard it's because they like to design their own games. I am not worried about playing games, I just need something that works and works fast. I don't have time for problems but if I did run across any Apple would be there 24 hours to walk me through anything I need.

Pros: asthetics speed super drive Cons: should've got the 24"
Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT I purchased the 20" iMac a few months ago. From the moment I took it out of the box it was everything I expected and more. I have since talked my brother-in-law (a PC only user) into buying one. He too is converted. I will never go back to a PC. This computer is as beautiful as it is fast. I just finished a movie using iMovie and iDVD for my sister's wedding. It was a snap and sooo user friendly. The best purchase I have made in years!!

Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT My ImacG5 died prematurely, but the new Imac is an excellent upgrade,Im glad I made. Time Machine is a great new feature and easy to use. I'm not a computer Wiz,but organising files ,documents, music or Photos is so much easier with the latest OSX.
Reviews & Ratings for iMac 20"/2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/1GB RAM/250GB/SuperDrive/Radeon HD2400XT This iMac is a sleek, professional powerhouse. Even at the bottom of the current model lineup, it will fulfill any home user's needs for rich internet and other applications (gaming, I am not sure, not being a gamer). The only disappointment i have is its weight- a hefty 20+ pounds, hardly less than iMacs of yesteryear. This design has the potential for substantial slimming and trimming, and I would have expected Apple to have shaved a few more eco-friendly pounds off by this point. That said, the design also lends itself to do-it-yourself dust covers made from arty papers and other materials. Also, I have to note that while the stand works very well, the top-heavy design might be prone to extra damage in an earthquake.
