Simple installation for the beginner with very view hook-up requirements. Screen size vs. price is a bargain but you must sacrifice by getting less technology.

I have always been pleased with ViewSonic in the past and this purchase is no exception. The setup was not complex and the instructions were easy to follow. I think the quality for the money is also very good. I have no issues or complaints with resolution and image quality. Granted, I am not using this for HD video, but "typical home office usage" and high res pictures have been just fine. I did have an issue with installing the driver on my WinXP Media Center 2004, but I suspect the issue was with my PC versus compatability. The monitor works and looks fine via the default video driver, so I have not investigated further. I recommend this to anyone looking for maximum monitor size @ minimal cost.

The picture could be a little bit better but if you just need a nice, normal LCD monitor, then this is the one. Oh, it only has VGA connector, not the new DVI connector. Still, it's very nice and worth every pennies. I hope this helps. Also, PCconnection.com shipping is free and supper fast. This is a really good and honest seller. Highly recommended and will buy again in the future.
