Great printer, although I can't understand why a 32 ppm printer would have a paper tray that only holds 250 sheets. Xerox offers an add on paper tray, but it costs more than the printer.
It's not going to fit on your desk, but if you have the room, it's a great machine.

Regarding print quality, Keep in mind this is a color laser printer and as a result has "inherited" certain strengths and weaknesses of color lasers. The color gamut is limited and certain colors don't print as smooth as others. This is true of all color laser printers.
Order a print sample from Xerox to get a good idea of what the printer can and can't do.
If you want to print photos buy an inkjet. If you want to print graphics, line art, newsletters, brochures etc where photo-realistic images and glassy smooth gradients are not needed, then buy this printer.
Oh, and regarding consumables: the price per page is one of the better I have seen. It is cheeper than the HP's I was looking at. But as a trade off you will not find Xerox toner in most stores so it would be wise to keep on eye on toner levels and order before you run out.
Also, Dell sells a printer (sorry, I forget the model number) that is basically this printer with a different face and some minor print engine tweaks. Dell offers a larger toner cartridge (better value) than Xerox offers, but once again you will not find it in stores. I guess it comes down to who you want to deal with if you need support... dell or xerox.
