I checked the webcam on it and seemed to work. Maybe 2 days later I tried to chat with my friend on camera and noticed that my instant messenger said no camera was found which made no sense. I went to my C drive and I noticed my camera wasn't there. Went to check my drives and sure enough it wasn't there either. Looked online and found out this was a common problem with these computers. I went to the aser website and downloaded the webcam drive and tried to install it and that didn't work either. So I returned the netbook after less than 8 days. Other than the camera the computer worked just fine

The battery is fantastic and actually lasts 8 hours!! For E-mail, photo sharing, and general use, the small size and portability is great. The key board is easy to use and has just the right touch.

It is a perfect choice for me and it meets my needs perfectly. I bought a small mouse because I find it easier to use than a touchpad. Found a Targus case that the netbook fits in perfectly. The whole package is only about 4 lbs.

Before my ski vacation to Breckenridge Colorado I decided to try one out; not wanting to carry my full size laptop. I loaded the entire Office 2007 Pro suite on it and used Word and Outlook daily. Both ran surprising well. They take a while to load but run acceptable once loaded. My son broke his wrist snowboarding and played Runescape, an online computer game, for 3 days straight after being told he could not ski anymore this year. The WiFi worked without any problems. Overall I am very pleased with it portability and battery life. It would never be my main or only computer but for a traveling buddy, it rocks. I would recommend it to anyone.
