Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/6-cell/10.1" WSVGA/XPH/Blue This netbook has great things going for it. It has 4+ hour battery life, big hard drive(160Gb), and decent screen. The only problem I have with it is the keyboard is just too small. If the keyboard would be about 85% of standard and has easy access to upgrade memory, this netbook would be a great purchase

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/6-cell/10.1" WSVGA/XPH/Blue The computer works exactly as advertised. Set up was easy and configuration was straightforward, if you are computer savvy. The accompanying instructions were minimal and I wouldn't advise a novice trying to set this up by themselves. However, I think the computer is a good value for travel use since it waighs less than three pounds and has very good battery life. To get rid of the installed software was somewhat time consuming - about 2 hours - and you will want to get rid of some of it. For example the Microsoft Works that comes installed is an edition that has advertising on its pages. So, either pay to get a real version or get rid of it and install Open Office. Likewise if you don't want McAffee because you have a subscription to Norton, you will have to uninstall McAffee. And, you will also have to have an external optical drive to install anything from a CD ROM. All together, though, it will work just fine for me as a more than full featured traveling companion.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/6-cell/10.1" WSVGA/XPH/Blue I bought this to take on a recent trip to Israel. Although the processor is not particularly fast, the performance has been surprisingly good. I used the card reader to download/backup our digital pictures and display them to others on the same tour, then started organizing photos on the plane ride back. The wireless worked with no problem, too. I really like the size/weight and long battery life. The only downside is the difficult touch on the mousepad. I solved this by using a miniature USB mouse, but wish this had been included in the package. I also like the included software that lets you make recovery disks.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/6-cell/10.1" WSVGA/XPH/Blue I love this little computer! It is small enough to throw in any bag, yet big enough to use everyday if you wanted. Perfect for traveling. Set up is easy, turn it on and go. The battery last as long as advertised if not longer. It has an excellant picture and sound. Bottom line, you can't go wrong buying this netbook. I have already recommended it to all my friends.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/6-cell/10.1" WSVGA/XPH/Blue The Acer 10.1 Netbook has exceeded my expectations. It is lightweight and easily portable. It tucks nicely inside a briefcase. The wireless capability seems to be good.....the true test will be in two weeks when I travel with it to an area where I have had difficulty accessing WIFI in the past. The battery life is so outstanding (approaching 7 hours between charges) that I have almost completely forsaken my older Acer laptop for this little play thing.
