Reviews & Ratings for 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor with SpectraViewII Color Calibration Solution Great monitor for the price considering that most competing color critical displays start at $900+. Very good viewing angle; great text sharpness over DVI. Excellent color accuracy, shadow detail and greyscale uniformity. It's really surprising how much better everything looked after performing the hardware calibration with the included probe and software. I'm completely sold on in-monitor hardware calibration now - definitely better than a software only solution. No more fiddling with monitor buttons while the probe is attached - you just set everything before and it calibrates the monitor to those figures. Also, this model has a very deep black level assuming you calibrate to a moderate peak luminance (which you should if you're doing color critical work). 160 candelas per sq meter or less for best (deepest) black levels. The one downside to this model is that it "only" supports 1680X1050 and not 1920X1200. But 1920X1200 is not common for 22" LCDs.
