Best thing I ever did. My ipod was not video compliant and it was just to much to carry an iPod and a PPC at the same time. The Nano is a tiny skinny little bugger with a view! Video is excellent. I shoulda got the 16g but it's cool. I'm very happy with it an so will you when you get one. iPods are great for carrying an intire collection but the Nano is the future!

Shaking to shuffle songs is clever and works well, but can be turned off if desired. Cover flow works well, too, but it can also be turned off. Videos look great on this admittedly small screen. Great battery life. Sounds great, though the included earbuds aren't great. That'd be my first upgrade recommendation.

At first is it an awesome product: the pictures flip every time you move as well as the music turn to cover flow, watching movies is awesome too. I was able around it for 2 hours then I plugged back to my PC and add up some music and video keeping it connected all night. The next morning my new ipod will not respond at all nothing, it is like it died on me. i try connecting it on different computer it will not work. It is the worst mp3 player that i ever had and the wost mac product ever.

That is,until the Nano 4G came out. With the great form factor, it's easier to use while I'm biking, working around the office and puttering around the house as it fits nicely in my shirt pocket. By moving my music to the Nano,my iPhone can accommodate more apps, pictures and videos. Since I listen to music several hours a day, I'm using up the battery charge on the Nano instead of the iPhone so I can take more calls, txt, 'Net surfing, etc. The Genius feature just rocks and the screen is surprisingly easy on the eyes. And it is built solidly. MacConnection has the best prices with its free shipping. Service is great as I had to make a change to my order and all it took was a quick phone call to a friendly and efficient customer service rep. Processing was fast and, even with the free shipping, I got my new Nano within days of ordering.
