Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH I am a computer science student and i am crazy about laptops. I love this piece becoz true definition of portability can be seen with this small piece. I have to carry laptop where ever i go, with this product with me it is easy to carry where ever i want very very easily and comfortably.
The screen may be small, battery life may be less.. what else can u expect from so small one. But as far as i am concern i needed a laptop to do programs not to watch movies or playing games so small screen doesnot matter and where i go i always find a charging point making life portable....
i would rather say get a acer aspire and make ur life portable...... rather lugging urself with huge, heavy and highly configured laptops, make urself comfortable with this small and amazing piece which is almost equivalent to those large pieces.....

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH I've had my Aspire for about a week, and I love it. I needed a small laptop to travel with as I have a bad back. This one fits the bill and more. I hardly know I'm carrying it. My biggest fear in buying one, was that I wouldn't be able to type on it. When I looked at the picture of the Aspire (plus lots of reviews) I realized that it was more like what I was used to--over sized shift key etc. I opened it up, and was able to type without any problems. I'm so glad! Great little machine for not much green! I graded it down on performance only because I loaded some pictures, and the screen began to blink a little. My resident computer guru was able to put it right in 5 or 10 minutes. :) I'm hooked!

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH It's a great little netbook. Doesn't have tons of power, but great for surfing. The only real problem I have with it is that the keyboard is really tiny and is pretty sensitive. But overall, it's a pretty good value.

Already wondering how I ever lived without it.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH I purchased this netbook because I've been tired of lugging around my 15" laptop from class to class. This is lightweight and easy to use and I love that it includes a built in webcam and microphone, which work perfectly well with Skype.
The screen is small (duh) but be sure you're willing to go that small, if not, this may not be the computer for you. If you use word processing all the time, I would actually recommend word 2003, instead of word 2007 or one note because the newer version's layout essentially takes up most of the screen while giving you very little space to see what you're writing.
In terms of its size, the keyboard is also smaller than regular laptops, so if you have big hands, this again, may not be the laptop for you. I'm a 5'1" female = tiny hands. See what works for you.
In addition the battery life is NOT very long. After a whole day of charging, my computer only gets 1.5-2 hours when not plugged in. This is fine for me because everywhere I go, I have a place to plug in my laptop. If you don't have that luxury, go for the extended life battery.

Otherwise, very pleased with purchase.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH I love this netbook! I've had this for 3 days now and quite happy with this purchase. Worked right out of the box, the keyboard isn't an issue since I have small hands and the 3 cell battery is quite ample for the mean time. I may in the future invest in a 6 cell but for the size and weight of the Aspire One right now, its just right. Wasn't sure if I would stay with the Microsoft Office 2007 after the trial period is over or switch to Open Office. Love the quick start up and shut down, the ease it handles applications I don't even miss not having a dvd/cd drive! Getting used to the Synaptics touchpad and even that's pretty good!

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH This is a convenient computer for travel. It's sleek and lightweight with a clear screen that's surprisingly easy to work with for its size. The only improvement I'd make would be to have the right nand left click buttons located a little farther from the touch pad (or make the left click button larger). Overall, I would recommend this product and the prompt service from PC Connection.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH After using this for about 7 months I can say that it has filled my needs. The only item I would add in a future model is a DVD/CD drive. It would be nice to watch movies on it without having to use an external burner/player. I could accept a thicker unit with a DVD drive. The battery life isn't good with this unit. I do plan on purchasing a 6-cell battery in the future. The fan makes a lot of noise too but if you search the Internet you can find software hacks that are extremely easy to install.

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH This little devil is the bomb!! I have an ASUS eeePC, and I love that thing too, but this one is even better. Huge disk drive, big clear screen, and all my Windows software works flawlessly. Pair this baby up to your USB DVD burner, and you have the whole 9 yards. Light, stylish, and built to last. This is not cheesy like the ASUS (don't get me wrong, I like my ASUS too, but this is WAY better...seems to be built with much higher materials and workmanship). This machine is heavy-duty without being heavy at all. It is built to last And did I aleady say it runs any piece of software my desktop runs??

Reviews & Ratings for Acer Aspire One AOA150-1405 Atom N270 1.6GHz/1GB/160GB/bg/NIC/WC/8.9" WSVGA/XPH Having already used another Acer netbook (pictured) with the longer-life 6-cell battery and achieving excellent results, for the sake of saving 5/8" in depth and not needing more than three hours of run time I elected to buy this 3-cell model for maximum portability. Other specs are identical to my first unit which makes this netbook another winner.
