Other Thoughts: Does not come with an eSata cable. Comes preformatted as Fat32 and only 931 GB free. Must reformat to NTSF if you plan on having files larger than 4gb.

I'm not certain that it's the fastest, but it's close if not better. I appreciate the smooth solid (and tiny!) metal enclosure with solid connections. It's not over built; it's just pure function. It works excellent on PowerPC and Intel Macintosh machines. I've recommended this drive numerous times to friends and family.
