Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 I don't yet have a good sense of this product. Keynote is cool and works well. Pages is average - I think AppleWorks is a better word processor. But it is growing on me. I haven't used the spreadsheet yet. So, it is growing on me and I don't like word or excel.

Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 Our church purchased the iWorks product for the Keynote program. After getting used to it's interface, a person can have a great looking video presentation ready to go in minutes. It does sooooo much more than PowerPoint. At last, we can use video backgrounds for our music and have really professional looking transitions between slides without having to purchase third party programs that eat away at your budget. Compare that to PowerPoint selling for hundreds of dollars more, it's a bargain at $79.

Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 iWork is a must have for anyone who owns a mac or is a creative/designer.
Numbers is like a modernized version of Excel, Keynote easily replaces Powerpoint and Pages is such a great substitute for Indesign, Quark and Word.
The user interface is streamlined and easy to use. Apple just took the tired old programs on Windows and vastly improved them with added functionality and design.
You can export iWork files into their respective windows counterparts for added compatibility. (Pages can save as a Word/.doc file; Keynote you can save in PowerPoint format; Numbers can save as Excel)

Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 This is a great upgrade. After using iWork for a few weeks, I had the pleasure of uninstalling MS Office once and for all. This suite works so seamlessly with IWeb and iPhoto that moving documents and presentations online takes half the time.

Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 Keynote blows Powerpoint away. Iwork is worth it for just that. I still use Microsoft word for business documents but for personal letters and fun stuff I use Pages because adding pics and such is easier. I use Numbers for things like creating lists or simple spread sheets. It's easier in Numbers to make prettier documents. I gave performance a 4 only because Keynote does not play back in real time but I think that's the computer's fault. It takes a lot of processing power to render the graphics. For slideshows I export to Quicktime then line up a separate recording to that.

Pros: easy to use great templates for all the programs Cons: none
Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 This software is a great tool to have with your mac over microsoft office. The programs and formulas are all ready to go and come with great templates and easy to move workbooks from excel to numbers. Pages is also just as good as word but a tad bit better due to the fuctions it has in the program. Keynote...not to sure yet cause i haven't really used it or played with it but it already sounds looks better than boring powerpoint.

Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 I'm a geek so I always buy the newest software for programs I use all the time. This version of Pages has lots of new features that are very useful. For example, they've added a lot of templates for both docs and page layouts. I had no trouble installing it on three computers (I bought the family pack). I recommend it!

Pros: apple challenges ms-office Cons: can't install
Reviews & Ratings for iWork '09 Here's the promised land for previous MS-Office devotees. iWork '09 unfortunately, seems to be rolled out prematurely -- can't even install product after "Installer Damaged ... unable to open package" error on 1-year old MacPro with latest Leopard (ver 6). Other software installs flawlessly. Hours spent with Apple Help were for naught. Better wait for version 1 update.
