Reviews & Ratings for iLife '09 Much better than '08! Great to be able to export in to iDVD again from iMovie. Also iMovie is much easier to work with than '08. Also a few more new features.
iPhoto just gets better all the time, especially with the new faces and places feature.
Also the new "themes" in iPhoto are fun and you can email them to your friends with music and a slideshow.
iTunes has more new features and I am still playing with them.

Reviews & Ratings for iLife '09 I don't use Garage Band and left it out to save space. The other apps are useful and easy. I wish more had been done to iWeb, the program I use most, but the widgets are some help.

Reviews & Ratings for iLife '09 I like iPhoto. Its a good, easy to use program for managing my amateur photos. However, I don't need the other 3 programs. They use a lot of drive space, so I didn't install them.

Reviews & Ratings for iLife '09 There was only a few days left until one of my projects were due. iMovie '08 was so frustrating and hard to use and I was too late to get to the iMovie HD Download. Fortunately, I made the right choice on upgrading to '09. iMovie '09 is a lot easier to use now and they have added a number of features. They have added maps and much more effects/animations. I felt that they have made iMovie a whole lot simpler to use and I praise Apple for making the right choice. iPhoto '09 also received a great upgrade. They have added faces, maps and much more. I have never used iPhoto before and now I know why iPhoto is a great application. It's not only an easier way to store photos, but a fun way. I like watching the slideshows and I felt that they have made a noticeable and fun upgrade to iPhoto. GarageBand also received a fine upgrade. They have added learn to play from an artist and more loops. I have never used the Learn to Play feature, but I may use it one day. The new loops are okay but I still think that GarageBand received a great upgrade. Unfortunately, iWeb didn't receive much attention. Of course they added some features, but they didn't add in a whole lot. The widgets are nice, but I wished that they had more widgets. You can still add widgets using the codes but the default widgets are too simple and/or plain. They did change the look and feel of iWeb and I prefer the new look/feel. If you are planning to upgrade just for iWeb, don't plan on upgrading. iDVD didn't receive an upgrade at all and I'm not too happy about that. Overall, I thought that the apps that received the most attention were GarageBand, iPhoto and iMovie. If you are planning to have a more enjoyable experience, upgrade to '09. Just don't plan on seeing a whole lot of updated features in iWeb and iDVD.
