MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive
Evolution is good. From one solid piece of aluminum comes a MacBook that’s thin and light, beautifully streamlined, and durable. The seamless glass and instant full screen brightness of the 13.3-inch LED-backlit display make everything you see flat-out spectacular... including the display itself. Snow Leopard v10.6 is also included.
Advanced nVidia integrated graphics provide more responsive gameplay and more realistic 3D environments, while the redesigned multi-touch trackpad has even more room and the entire trackpad is also the button so it's clickable everywhere.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I just got my first Macbook a couple weeks ago. I am used to windows and Microsoft software. So far this computer has been great, everything makes a lot of sense and it is very easy to use. If any of you are looking into a Macintosh for the first time or even if you already have one, I highly recommend this laptop.

No longer do tech support

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I bought the 13" Aluminum MacBook for my 16 year old daughter over her objections since she wanted the white one like all her friends had. She didn't like the looks of the aluminum. Well, now she is the envy of all those friends who want one like she has. Coming from the Windows world, but having used Mac's decades ago, I really didn't know what to expect. I was worried I'd get sucked into doing lots of tech support, like I do for Windows, on a system I don't use regularly. Well this MacBook has been a blessing. We booted, put in the wireless Id, performed a software update, and I have not touched it since. My daughter has installed MS Office and other stuff just fine, without my help. Awesome. BTW, the site forced me to fill in the battery life but I don't know if it is good or bad. After 8 months, my son's Vista PC is still showing the Norton AntiVirus install screen every time he boots. We can't get rid of it.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive Great balance between weight and features for traveling. Glossy screen not a problem for me. Smaller size makes it easier to use on a plane. One piece construction feels sturdy.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive We have 2 15" MBPs (one v.1 and a new unibody v.2 BTO 2.8 gHz), a pool of 20" aluminum Intel iMacs, plus the usual assortment of iPhones (5 at last count), iPods, G5Dual desktops, & aluminum and ti Powerbooks, all in heavy constant use at my law firm and at home. My bro-in-law visited over the Holidays with the new 13" unibody MB his law firm bought him (BTO w/ max speed processor & max RAM) and it was love at first byte with both family & office staff. The little beauty matched my BTO 15" unibody MBP's performance in everything but heavy Photoshop use. For general legal work, it's my hot-rod unibody 15"'s equal in every respect. You lose some screen real estate with the 13" MB; but it generates the same the instant positive response from clients, counsel, court personnel, and judges that my "pro" level Mac laptops have garnered over the years. (NOTE: It's up to you to not blow your Mac advantage with poor preparation or sloppy research. First impressions count in the law; but only so far!). Bottom line: we bought a 2.0 gHz unit for family right away. Immediately the line formed for another 4 or 5 faster versions with max ram. We'll order them with overnight shipping as fast as the office collects money to pay for them.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive Best Macbook ever made to date. I've been using mac's ever the first imac's came out and boy have they come a long way. The battery life on these laptops is by far superior compared to anything close to it's monitor size. The speed and functionality has more capabilities than any windows or linux machine as well. I could name the features about it that aren't always shown out front when looking at this but then i'd spend an hour doing that and you don't want to read all that right now anyways.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive This is my third Apple Notebook since I decided to switch to Mac 5 years ago. My first one was a PB 15 G4 awesome machine, I sold it. Then I bought a Black MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB RAM incredible machine. Like 2 weeks ago I bought a MacBook 13.3 2GB RAM 160HD here at MacConnection, this is incredible machine, The new LED screen is just stunning. Battery life has been improved and performance is much much better than the black one, track pad gestures are excellent, easy to learn and easy to work with. I really recommend this machine. The only issue is the lack of the firewire port but this is something I can live with.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive Mac Connection called me when my card was having problems due to an address change. The rep continued to call me to ensure me that I will receive my package in the time frame needed. I receive the package in the proper time frame in order to finish a project that I was working on. Their customer service was so great. This is what I call 5 star service. Plus I received a rebated and their price was cheaper than going to the actual store. I will never buy another Mac retail, neither will my friends after I told them my experience. Job well done. Kudos to Mac Connection.

Best Laptop I've Ever Owned

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook 13.3" Aluminum Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/SuperDrive I decided to finally move from PC to Mac after seeing this one introduced in October. The internal hardware combined with its solid aluminum construction made it a no-brainer as it was durable, thin, light, and exceptional battery life while offering higher performance than other laptops in its class.
There are a few sacrifices like no expresscard, sd card, or firewire, but I do tend to keep my laptops for a long time and its durable, aluminum unibody construction, long battery life excellent LED lit screen, excellent trackpad, and class leading 1066MHz memory bus with DDR3 DRAM, Intel C2D processor, and nVidia 9400M chip more than make up for those minor shortcomings. The light weight and compact package make it nearly as portable as the MacBook Air but with more flexibility.
If you can do without those aforementioned ports, are looking for a secondary notebook, need an ultralight portable, and will not sacrifice performance, the new MacBook should definitely be on your shortlist. I dare you to find another computer with these specs in such a premium chassis for this price.
