MacBook Air 13.3" Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz/2GB/128GB SSD/802.11n/BT/WC/9400M/OSX 10.5

The MacBook Air is still ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else. But somehow there’s room to add so much more. A bigger hard drive. A 4x graphics performance boost. And more power for everyday tasks. Mobile computing has yet another new standard. MacBook Air is nearly as thin as your index finger. Yet it has a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, a full-size keyboard, and a large Multi-Touch trackpad. It’s incomparably portable without the ultraportable screen and keyboard compromises. The nVidia GeForce 9400M graphics brings amazing, high-speed graphics to MacBook Air. With up to a 4x graphics performance boost, graphics-intensive applications now run faster. Movie and video playback is now richer.

Ordered this for our new Marketing director, pretty easy to setup even with RDP into our exchange environment. Would like to see more usb adapters. Overall, it's a solid little laptop, light, speedy enough and cute to girls who like puppies. Surprisingly good onboard sound too.

Reviews & Ratings for MacBook Air 13.3" Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz/2GB/128GB SSD/802.11n/BT/WC/9400M/OSX 10.5
I'm an IS systems admin. This means that I need to have a computer with me everywhere so I can VPN into my office and fix problems, restart servers, and anything else that the users I support need. This allows me to take care of everything - no matter where I am.
It is light and tight enough that I can stick it in my bag and (almost) not even notice.
Note: it can not handle very heavy use. The ram, limited at 2 GB, is not enough for many higher performing tasks. It works for me because I have a Mac Pro sitting at my desk, and an iMac at home.

I also very strongly recommend the solid state drive. Someone else in our office has the regular HDD and it is very sluggish. My SSD is very speedy. One bounce application launches!

Hey, its a Mac! I just happens to be very thin and very light. I especially like the silent operation of the solid state drive. But it is pretty expensive and its not the powerful device the MacBook Pro is.
