Installation was easy. Scroll speed is very fast. Have to use the slowest settings. Vertical up and down scrolling is better than Apple's wireless mouse. Targus website is not very helpful for downloading software updates. Had to send email to tech support to get the software for programming the buttons.

When I first bought this mouse, the one that I got malfunctioned after only 24 hours. However, I contacted Targus and they did an exchange. The new mouse has been great. The formal reviews online and in print referred to how fast the cursor tracks with this mouse and it can be extremely fast, However, if you access the controls through system preferences, you can dial it down to a comfortable speed. it still will be very responsive and quicker than the average mouse, but I like it a lot. Battery life is excellent - I've had it for 3 months and have not had to replace the batteries yet (and I leave it switched on when not in use).
