HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One Printer (replaces PSC4385, cc281a)
The HP PhotoSmart C4580 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier offers versatility, ease, and affordablity. This small unit is perfect for a home office and college dorm room. It features the ability to copy, print, and scan everything you could desire up to 8.5" x 24". You can even print quality photos in seconds right from your digital camera memory card as the C4580 supports a Memory Stick or Memory Stick Duo, Secure Digital (SD) or
MultiMediaCard (MMC), and xD-Picture Card. Its wireless connector lets you share the all-in-one with other notebooks, PCs and Macs. The 1.5" inch LCD makes it easy to select the photos that you want to print from the ones that you don't.
The C4580 is also a great performer. You can print and copy at speeds up to 30 ppm black and up to 23 ppm color. Plus, print a 4" x 6" lab-quality photo in as fast as 25 seconds. Scan resolutions run to 2400 x 1200 dpi in 48-bit color, and you can copy in ranges from 50 percent up to 400 percent.

Reviews & Ratings for HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One Printer (replaces PSC4385, cc281a) I have used HP printers for many years. I purchased this particular model for the additional option of printing 4x6" pictures from a memory stick.
I installed the printer on my laptop following the directections step by step. When finished, the printer was not recognized by the computer. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it. Again, when I tried to print a document, I received a message that the printer could not be recognized.
I contacted technical support at HP. The technician found that there were errors in the background that I would not have found. The tech corrected the problems and within minutes, the printer was operational.
