This Docking Station is used with the 500GB FreeAgent Go Portable Hard Drive. It uses two USB 2.0 ports, if available, and was extremely easy to install. It gives me the capability of removing the Hard Drive without disrupting the cable connections. This adds to the overall portability of the Hard Drive.
