Reviews & Ratings for iPod Shuffle 1GB Green (Sept 08) 2nd Generation I am a big supporter of the iPod Shuffle. I actually own 3 of the second generation shuffles and 1 of the first generation Shuffles.
The size and clip on feature make this the easiest music device to take with you anywhere. And even though I've had these shuffles for years the batteries are still going strong.
They are easy to use in situations where you can't see what you're doing, just by touch and I just can't recommend them enough. Sometimes simple really is better.
The only minus are the headphones that come with the device, as usual, they are a disappointment considering the quality of iPod products otherwise.
I'm really sorry to see that the new shuffle has all of the controls on the headphone cord. Which means that you will be stuck with the mediocre iPod headphones.
