Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard I have only had mine a few days BUT: Get on the phone or online and get yours and get rid of that tinkertoy, piece of junk that Apple calls a keyboard. The Logitech takes a little getting used to (not much) but it's great. I have always used Apple but never liked their keyboard. I always used a McAlly keyboard but McAlly decided to not build a cordless keyboard for the Mac.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard I am a huge fan of this keyboard, we needed one so that we could sit on our couch and type and this fulfills that need. Due to the difficulty of keeping track of both a mouse AND a keyboard, this all in one device from Logitech is perfectly suited to all my typing and pointing needs. The chargeable base is a lovely edition and will save on battery purchases, plus is just handy to keep it vertically out of the way when not in use... so, yay to that. The multitude of ways to hit a left mouse button click with this keyboard is amazing, theres one on the left, one on the right and a swift tap of the trackpad also does the business. I give it a multitude of enthusiastic thumbs up! I have the Mac edition by the way which has the built in bluetooth, for the PC version I think you have to use a supplied dongle.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard After reading many favorable(and some unfavorable reviews) of this product I decided that it would fit my need just fine. I bought it to replace the original keyboard on my 24" iMac which I did not like at all. I have enjoyed the typing feel of the keyboard and the many convenience features as well as the luxury of having a wireless keyboard.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard Not much to say about a keyboard. It works like it is supposed to. The built-in touchpad and touch volume control are nice features, but I use a mouse rather than the touchpad. The touch and feel of the keyboard is fine and the setup was very easy (though from time to time, the iMac takes a while to find it upon startup). Worth the money and I do like it better than the Apple keyboard. Just wish it had a separate number pad.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard This keyboard is nice, slick, has FANTASTIC battery life, and is much more convenient than a keyboard / mouse combo for most uses. I use mine to control my Mac Mini media computer that's hooked into my HD TV, and for that purpose it's great. My only complaint is the piano black shiny finish. I left the plastic cover on mine, as it gives a matte finish. Otherwise it picks up fingerprints. Still, I'm very happy with it.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard The only problem I can find with this keyboard is not the keyboard's or its manufacturer's fault but my own. I became so accustomed to my previous Apple keyboard, the one that came with my iMac, that I find it annoying not to have a numerical pad. But, again, this is my own fault because I was in urgent need of a new keyboard and did not realize this one doesn't have the numerical pad. Other than this, it is excellent and I recommend it warmly. Enjoy!

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard The keyboard is just beautiful and elegant. However, the unit i received has some cosmetic defects most likely from Logitech's manufacturing. The aluminum palm rest on my unit is not tightly flushed on one side. It's quite noticeable. I will be contacting Logitech to see if i can get a replacement or something. This is disappointing since its such an expensive keyboard. Personally, i found the keys on the Dinovo to be smaller than regular keyboards. The spacing seemed off when I began using it initially. It only takes about an hour to adjust to (for me as least). Something that I would have liked to see Logitech do was make the keyboard both wireless and wired (charging through a USB port as another option). I don't like having to charge it on the base...seems sort of ridiculous. I also would have liked to see a user replaceable battery, this isn't a very green product. All in all, its functions well for what it is....a keyboard.
FOR WINDOWS USERS: For those of you who are looking to purchase the Dinovo (Mac edition) for a Windows machine in order to save money like myself, the keyboard does work on a Windows OS (I'm using Vista). What to know for Windows users: The command key acts as the windows key and option acts as alt. The eject button does not work, all of the other keys work fine. The touch disc works however the scrolling doesn't work. The keyboard runs under a generic driver. If you have SetPoint installed for another Logitech product, it will not be recognized by SetPoint. I thought this would be useful to some since I wasn't able to find this type of information on the web before I decided to by the Mac version.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard First impression out of the box for the diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard is that it is a very slick product. It fits aesthetically well with the 24" iMac. All likelihood the best-looking keyboard on the current market. However, the width of the keyboard seems small and typing at first seemed cramped. This did not affect typing speed initially and after a week of use the apparent smallness of the keyboard was forgotten.
The keyboard does not have a numeric keypad, instead having a touch-sensitive volume control and a built-in scroll wheel with two buttons located beneath that can simulate mouse movement when away from your desk. This is a great feature though not perfect. Control is a little off and sluggish with the wheel, but having the ability to lounge on a couch across the room and still manage programs requiring point-and-click interface is useful.
The charge for the keyboard is very long. Some say it will last a month on a single charge; all I can say is that it has never lost its charge before I remember to charge it again. The action of the keys is quite nice, neither feeling too shallow or deep and allows for fast typing. There is no backlit keys, which may be a deterrent to use at night or dark settings.
Overall, a great keyboard. Was happy when I opened the box and am still happen after continued use. The product arrived in excellent condition from PC Connection, arriving earlier than expected. The price listed here was also one of the lowest I found for this keyboard, and made this expensive purchase much more palpable.

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard This keyboard is incredible. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because nothing is perfect (but I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could). The keyboard is thin, has great range with my computer and has an unbelievable feel.. The keys are perfectly spaced; I have never felt keyes such as these. Others have complained about there not being a number pad, but unless you absolutely need one, who cares. Others have also complained about the volume control not being up to par and the trackpad not working as well as they wanted it to. In my opinion the volume control works exactly how it should. The trackpad is great! Not every keyboard comes with a trackpad, and the trackpad with this keyboard works very well. My only complaint is the right and left click buttons are somewhat difficult to push, but there is the tap option which I primarily use. Every macintosh keyboard I have seen has white keys that have turned black from the dirt on others fingers, this keyboard has black keys which is a big plus in my opinion. Another advantage are the Mac specific keys. Another thing I love is the fact that you can charge the keyboard rather than using batteries, which saves money, and the charge lasts forever (well, months if it's turned off occasionally). It is the greatest performing, and sexiest keyboard, I have ever used. I'm not sure it's worth $150+, but it is definitely worth $100. If you use a mac YOU NEED TO BUY THIS KEYBOARD!!! You are not going to find a better keyboard.

A few cons: -Needs a slightly bigger trackpad -Would be nice to control trackpad features (i.e. multiple finger scrolling, turn off tap-to-click) -Power button can turn off computer, but not turn it on (inconvenient for lazy wireless people)

Reviews & Ratings for diNovo Edge Mac Edition Keyboard I've been a user of the Mac keyboard for about a year and hated it the whole time. After punishing myself way too long, I went on the search for a better keyboard. At first, I was put off by the price of the Edge, but after trying one, I fell in love. The touch is perfect with just enough tactile response. Style and function blended together in a masterpiece. The lighting and extra functions put it over the top. I love it!
