The Lexmark X8350 All-in-One Plus Photo can print, copy, scan, and fax. You can print documents in color at up to 19 ppm or up to 25 ppm in normal black and white. Without a PC, you can copy, scan or fax with A4, letter or legal size paper using the 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF). The Lexmark Accu-Feed paper handling system virtually eliminates paper jams.
You can reduce to 25% or enlarge by 400% photos and other documents. Share your scanned documents or photos by email or easily print them. The rotating 2.36" color screen and 4" x 6" photo scan guides simplify the placement and previewing of photos. You can easily enhance, print and manage your digital photos using the exclusive Lexmark Photo Editor or Imaging Studio software. Or you can quickly view, edit (crop, rotate, resize, remove "red-eye") and print photos without a PC from your digital camera memory card, or with a USB flash drive or digital camera using the PictBridge Certified Port. The built-in memory card readers support CompactFlash Type I II, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo with adapter, Microdrive, Multi Media, Secure Digital, Mini Secure Digital (Mini SD), SmartMedia and xD flash memory cards.
You can print brilliant 6-color borderless photos in sizes A4, A5, A6, Letter, Hagaki, 10 x 15cm, 13 x 18cm, 3.5" x 5", 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" at up to 4800 dpi on photo quality paper.

Won't print files from computer wordperfect to paper copy. this is what I need. Won't print postage to envelopes, on on postal issued stamp form sheets so I can put a stamp on an envelopel.

X8350 All-In-One Plus Photo Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax i have owned this printer for well over 6 months and have used just about every feature on it. i gave it 4 stars on the ease of use because if you use the printer alone it can take a while to get all the settings the way you want them. but if used through the computer with the lexmark software it is much easier. it prints perfect pictures. is easier to use as a fax than a regular fax machine. can be set to pick up the phone after a set amount of rings to recieve faxes, and you can use the scan bed or the top loading auto-feeder to send faxes. it allows you to save a profile type list for tasks that are common to you, allowing you to name the profile and save all the settings associated with the particular task which comes in handy for things like resumes, pictures, etc. the memory card slots are also a great added feature since it means i didnt have to buy a separate memory card reader for my computer. it has a 160 page memory, phone book feature that allows you to store phone numbers with names, compile group lists, and preset 89 quick-dials for numbers you fax to on a regular basis with 1-5 having their own individual quick dial buttons. the software is very user-friendly, if theres something you need to figure out it has a "I Want To" section with a list of tasks and instrutions on How-To. you can even set it to give you on-screen step-by-step instructions for some of the more complicated tasks. the printer will pause itself at each step and tell you exactly what to do next with on-screen instruction and sometimes diagrams. the "lexmark productivity suite" is awesome. it lets you scan directly to pdf, easily attach files to email, edit scanned text, drag & drop to place files in folders, drag & drop files to the application you want to open it with, and more. if using the lexmark brand ink i have estimated black & white copies at around 5 cents per page and color at around 11-12 cents per page.
