Rock Band 2 Software Wii
Rock Band 2 builds upon the original, challenging players to put together a band and tour for fame and fortune while learning to master lead/bass guitar, drums and vocals, and raises the bar to include an entirely new level of depth, connectivity, authenticity and exhilarating features.
The Rock Band 2 soundtrack will feature over 100 songs, with over 80 songs on disc plus an additional 20 bonus tracks which will be made available for free download this fall. Players will have access to all previously purchased DLC tracks, packs and albums as well as future DLC releases, as well as the ability to export most of the original Rock Band disc tracks into Rock Band 2. The music in Rock Band 2 features all master recordings and spans all genres of rock from punk, metal and alternative to classic and southern rock.

Reviews & Ratings for Rock Band 2 Software Wii So if you jumped the gun and bought Rock Band 1 for Wii you might be a little annoyed at the gimped version they put out (no online, no dlc, no real word tour).
The only good thing is now you have the instruments for this full featured port of the game.
This has all the features in the PS3 and Xbox360 versions (including DLC recently launched in January).
If you like this type of game, Rock Band 2 is a no brainer. A great tracklist of songs featuring great classic rock (The Who's Pinball Wizard), great modern rock (Modest Mouse' Float On) and even great guilty pleasures (Survivor's Eye of the Tiger).
I've played both Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2 and definitely recommend Rock Band 2 for a better track list and presentation.
The only con is the Guitar Hero instruments are better. However, if you went out and bought Guitar Hero III or Guitar Hero World Tour, those instruments will work with Rock Band 2. Problem solved.
