Initially, we were hesitant with the screen size, wondering if it was too big as a monitor usage (specially since we're going from laptop monitor to this one or from 19" to this one). But once it was setup, it was great. We've not tried much with this except using it as monitor. Setup was super easy. I wish the monitor had at least one USB connector.

The resolution is excellent and colors are great. The latency when flipping channels is reasonable. The only drawback is that the sound quality is not as good as expected. I may invest in a set of external speakers for TV use. Overall it is a great value for $330.

When I first plugged it in to the DVI port on my computer the picture was so far off I thought it was broken. I finally was able to go through the settings to make a pretty good picture but man what a pain. Overall I really like the monitor and have even plugged in an antenna and used it as a TV. It performs well in both scenarios and has a ton of inputs and connections for whatever. The tech support people tried to be helpful and did what they could to help, but they were not quite as knowledgeable about the product as I had hoped, mostly because it's a pretty new product I think.
Anyway, overall I do recommend this product, just don't pass out when you first see the picture and use the remote to adjust the settings, it's easier and less frustrating, because you have to do A LOT of adjusting.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This is a wonderful bargain for a 25.5" monitor with a TV thrown in as a bonus. You have DVI, VGA, and HDMI inputs, and it looks good. The TV tuner is fine, although you are somewhat limited in terms of input and output options. The weak link here are the internal speakers, which aren't really good enough for what you would want watching HDTV. There are the two HDMI inputs and 1 component input, but no S-Video or standard resolution video in. Assuming that you're going to have this plugged into a more robust solution like a receiver (optical out sound) or even standard computer speakers (via headphone jack on side of TV), you won't be bothered too much by the lousy speakers. In that case, it's a great deal.

Reviews & Ratings for 26" T260HD Widescreen LCD Monitor/HDTV This is one of many Samsung products I own. I am impressed with the quality and ease of use of the HDTVs. The LCD is bright and sharp. The off air HDTV picture is pure eyecandy. Even bad shows look great! BTW, the off air signal is a very high resolution image, at least in my market. It is much better than my "basic cable" DTV signal quality.
You can find similar sized HDTVs for less but online reviews of these are less than kind... some are OK, others very negative. Maybe there are issues with quality control. You may save some cash if you want to take your chances. I have never had issues with the 4 HDTVs (DLP and LCD), 3 DVDs (one BluRay), and 1 HDTV tuner from Samsung so that is a plus.
I use the TV for off the air HDTV TV viewing. It'd a perfect size for use in my bedroom location. Programming the channels is easy and quick. It has a very sensitive HDTV tuner to the antenna input TV signal.
It now ships with the manual on CD. I have never been a great fan of that, much less when the device is not in the same room as the computer. The good news is I didn't seem to need it for setup/use. Deleting unwanted channels could be easier but after I discovered a better way to navigate the menu structure it now goes better (maybe I should have read the manual)
The sound is good with a decent volume. The I and O ports are adequate. There is an optical audio sound output but no RCA R/L stereo out. This would restrict some choices for external speakers or amplifiers if desired. There is a small headphone jack which could be used in a pinch as a work around.
A solid electronic device overall. I'm quite happy with mine.
