Reviews & Ratings for Windows Vista Ultimate English DVD with Service Pack 1 (SP1) I bought Vista Ultimate about 2 years ago and stopped using it about a year after I purchased it (reverted back to XP). The first problem I had was when I tried to copy files across the network, it kept failing. So, I did what any tech would do, and I googled it. Well, turns out, Vista had an issue with copying files across a network. This put a bad taste in my mouth from the start. How can you release an OS knowing that it has problems copying files across a network!?! Anyway, aside from that, the UI is cool looking but that's about it. It will annoy any power user who wants to tweak things... constantly asking if you really want to do the things you're doing. Of course I want to do them! It's my COMPUTER! Anyway, I know Windows 7 is just Vista fixed, so it should be good. I'm debating whether or not I want to try the release candidate but I think I'll just wait till it comes out.... whenever that is.
