Windows Vista Business English DVD with Service Pack 1 (SP1)

The Windows Vista Business operating system is designed to meet the needs of business organizations of all sizes. For small businesses, Windows Vista Business will help keep PCs running smoothly and more securely so you will be less reliant on dedicated IT support. For larger organizations, Windows Vista Business provides dramatic infrastructure improvements, enabling your IT staff to spend less time focused on the day-to-day maintenance of PCs and more time adding strategic value to your organization. Windows Vista Business also offers powerful ways to organize, find, and share information while staying better connected whether you are in the office or on the road. Windows Vista Business features built-in protection against malicious software. You will also be warned of impending hardware failures long before you risk losing any important business data. An array of sophisticated new backup technologies helps protect your information even in the event of a catastrophic hardware failure. For larger organizations, image-based installation is now the default method for installing the Windows Vista operating system, and the images are no longer hardware-dependent. This reduces the number of images you are required to manage, and it streamlines the process of deploying or updating PCs. Plus, IT departments can configure users' systems so that they can log onto their PCs as standard users instead of as administrators. This eliminates compatibility and usability issues, while reducing the likelihood of a malicious attack causing damage to your organization's PCs. A user interface named Windows Aero makes it easy to navigate through the operating system and from application to application. A built-in how-to guide called Small Business Resources leads you through everyday tasks and troubleshooting. And the essential infrastructure is built right in to connect more securely from the office, a Wi-Fi hotspot, or even a cell phone. Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) is the complete set of Windows Vista updates Microsoft has issued over the past year plus additional enhancements to improve your PC experience. SP1 doesn't add new features or require you to learn anything newit simply makes your PC more reliable, run more smoothly, and even more enjoyable to use. SP1 addresses specific reliability and performance issues, supports new types of hardware, and adds support for several emerging standards.

Reviews & Ratings for Windows Vista Business English DVD with Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Like many others I have been reluctant to use Windows Vista but Vista really is a good OS.If you configure it properly I have found it to be pretty more resistance to virus attacks than XP. Second, Vista runs best if you give it 3GB or RAM or more. More if your running the 64 Bit version of course.
