Reviews & Ratings for Pelican 1700 Rolling Weapons Case with Foam, Black I bought this for an AR rifle. With a 16" barrel and collapsed stock it fits perfectly. The case is solid, rolls easy, and feels lighter than it's just over 16 pound heft empty. The quality is great and all elements are very well finished. The only improvement I would make is to have the latches not be able to pop up so easy when you catch them on something. Even if you're checking it, easy to get around with a strap and ATA lock. Cutting the foam was easy and I can replace it later if I want to change the setup. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
