After purchasing a Lexus GX 470, I was disappointed to discover that the AUX connection was not integrated into the car system (like BMW and Infiniti), allowing me to listen to my iPod in my car. I began to research my options and wanted something that worked easily and sounded like it belonged in the car system (not those other types that plug into the cigarette lighter and never sound quite right). After reading reviews, I ordered the iPod Dock Connector to 3.5mm Cable and I have been very pleased. It's easy to use, does not take the place of the cigarette lighter (where I have to charge my phone), and the sound is excellent. If you have a car without an integrated iPod system, this is the cable you need! I won't list its inability to charge and play at the same time as a "con" because that is the car designer's flaw, not the fault of the cord. It could be black (instead of white) and perhaps a bit shorter, but those are aesthetic choices and do not interfere with its performance!
