PIXMA MX700 All-in-One Color Inkjet
The networkable PIXMA MX700 5-in-1 is all business, able to quickly produce beautiful photos and bold, professional-quality text. Microscopic 2-picoliter sized ink droplets produce finely detailed photos. You can print photos right from compatible memory cards- selecting and enhancing images on the 1.8" color LCD display - or directly from a digital camera or DV camcorder. Enrich your photos with new Auto-Image Fix, and faithfully reproduce photo and document quality with advanced copy technology. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) holds up to 30 originals, and two paper trays can store both plain and photo paper. You'll achieve up to Super G3 fax speed in color and BW, and the expanded memory can store 40 speed dial codes and receive 100 incoming pages. Copies will be remarkably true to the originals, and when scanning photos you'll produce impressive 2400-dpi results, with vibrant 48-bit color depth. The Ethernet interface lets you establish or connect to a home or office network.

I, too, read about the size, but that's to be expected with an all-in-one unit. I've done a lot of printing over the 3 months I've owned it and haven't had to replace a cart yet. Print quality is good, the printer is fast, too. Highly recommend this printer.

Reviews & Ratings for PIXMA MX700 All-in-One Color Inkjet I bought this product for it's functionality. I usually buy these types of items from newegg, but it was more expensive there. PCC had this on sale for $129 so I took a chance. The first one they sent me was DOA. PCC was very good at sending another printer out and sent an RMA immediately. The 2nd one works great. The fax works with my VOIP phone. The scan to PDF is great. I carefully researched printers before buying this, and I think Canon offers the best value. This is a good product if you are looking for a solid home office all in one. Because of the higher price, you might now consider going with the canon pixma 310. I don't see huge differences and it's cheaper.

Reviews & Ratings for PIXMA MX700 All-in-One Color Inkjet Only problem that I have had with this (and with a PIXMA MP520 that we have also bought recently) is that the software that one installs with it somehow prevents Adobe from using the scan facility to create PDFs and instead insists on its own scan program. Adobe literally cannot see the scanner (a problem that I have not encountered before). Second paper feeder is impossibly difficult to use. You can put paper in; you cannot extract the paper without an interesting maneuver. That's very disappointing. Otherwise clean lines, easy to set up, I appreciate only 1 black cartridge instead of two in some printers.
