I purchased two for Christmas gifts because I was impressed with my own that I had purchased this past summer. I also had purchased one this past summer as a gift for my niece who had just had a baby. She wanted to capture all the "firsts" with her new baby, and it's so simple for her to capture those "firsts." She absolutely LOVES her camera, too. She says that she would not have as much video of her baby if it wasn't for her Flip video camera. Two of my friends at work were so impressed with the Flip video that they each purchased one for their husbands for Christmas. The shipping from PC Connection was unbelievable -- super fast. I highly recommend both the camera and PC Connection. It has a built-in memory of 2G, which allows for 60 minutes of recording. I just wish you could use a memory card, too.

The quality is fine, very easy to download video's for DVD or online sharing. Small size makes is easy to carry and it couldn't possibly be easier to use. It made our skiing so much more fun- the playback was a great apres ski activity. Great for action shots.

Reviews & Ratings for Flip Video Ultra Series - Black This product was very easy to use. However, it took a long time for the video that was over 30 minutes long to upload from the camera. The software at times has its share of glitches such as not always showing the recent video on your camera, so you have to sometimes unplug it and plug it back in. But for a novice, you can't go wrong -- simplicity is definitely what you want and this camera offers it! The images were also clear and sound quality very good, but be sure you are using it in a well lit place.

Reviews & Ratings for Flip Video Ultra Series - Black A friend of mine got one of these Flip Video Ultras and I loved the concept so HAD to purchase 1 to use for quick videos of horse-related excursions. I am still overall happy with it but I had issues with the Flip Video being recognized by my PC when it was first plugged in. The issue has since been resolved. This is very very easy to use, the editing software is easy to use and Flip Video is worth the money spent. I also read many reviews of ppl with problems with it; could've been the first models out but just be aware. ;-)

It really was that easy. We uploaded our first video to YouTube within minutes.
The software is on the camera so where ever we went, we were able to upload videos.
My wife's only disappointment was that She was not able to zoom in as close as she wanted. The zoom is not as good as a full size camera.
I am concerned that my wife is going to lose the camera because of it's small size.
Don't forget to reboot your computer after installing the sortware. Also, don't remove the camera while the software is running. It caused a lockup which kinda surprised me.
If you are looking for a good quality, small and simple to use digital camera, you might like this one.
