Reviews & Ratings for Otterbox iPod Touch 2nd Gen Waterproof Armor Case, Black I ordered this product and have been using it for a little over a month now. I like it overall but there are definitely things I don't like.
Positives: -very protective, as you might assume, I have dropped it several times without are harm done. -waterproof, haven't actually submerged it in water yet but have got rained on without problem -dust proof, work in landscaping and this was main reason i bought it, keeps the pod clean -functional, the whole touch screen still work smoothly
Negatives: -bulky, this thing makes the ipod 3 almost 4 times bigger -somewhat temperamental, has happened a couple times where music was only playing through one side because the 9 mm jack wasn't seated properly, easy to correct by just pushing in down more, not a huge deal -can't use the sleep button on top anymore -doesn't pause music went 9 mm jack gets unplugged because its not actually getting taken out of the ipod
None of the negatives are bad enough where I wouldn't suggest buying it, but worth taking note of.

It is not what I purchased it for as it is quite large...but it passed the waterproof, dip in the sink test so I decided it will be great for water activities including swimming laps.
