My recommendation is YES with significant reservations.

Ordered this case and the extended battery, The case DOES NOT fit over the extended battery with it's battery cover installed. Contacted Otterbox. They thought it might be a manufacturing defect and sent me another case free to keep. It didn't fit either. I use the HP and extended battery in the Otterbox without the battery cover. Works fine otherwise since all other functionality is present. Since the case isn't waterproof to begin with, I don't see a deal killing downside.

One detail point: I use the HP with a Globalsat CF GPS card receiver. I had to remove(grind off) the plastic lip of the back case half so the card would seat in the slot.

Mucho kudos to Otterbox for their support.
