Careful to go to their site and download the most recent and appropirate driver and software for your particular computer. As many have noted, it's awkward to adapt the monitor to its stand. The plug and play worked well and I see no need to install the drivers. The picture quality was great and I liked it so much I got the 22" one as well - which actually proved to have some picture quality issues that I still can't figure out even now. Comparably, the 933BW is excellent!

Reviews & Ratings for 19" 933BW Widescreen LCD Monitor, Black I was looking to purchase an inexpensive monitor to use with my laptop in a dual screen configuration. This monitor has worked very well in that capacity. The screen is very bright and makes it easy to read documents (brighter than my laptop screen). It has both DVI and analog ports so it was easy to attach to my laptop. The only drawback is that it has a fixed stand and doesn't adjust in height which meant that I had to put my laptop on some books to elevate its screen to the same level (I use an external USB keyboard and mouse).
If you need a second monitor or even a primary monitor for work or home use that is good quality and inexpensive. I would recommend this model.

I did find the instructions about putting the base on the monitor as clear as they could have been. I also found that you do not want to take off the protection cover on the base before attaching it or your shinny, black stand will be covered in fingerprints.
Performance wise the monitor is great.

The only "strange" thing that I have not yet figured out is when the computer/monitor goes into sleep mode, their is a faint blue light that flashes on the bottom of the monitor. No big deal unless little things bother you! I will read the manual some day to find out why the flashing light thing occurs.

Control buttons on side can be a little confusing, but there isn't much that needs to be adjusted anyway. Somewhat surprised that the text isn't as sharp as I expected - even using cleartype. Games look extremely good and I really like the widescreen format.

One minor downfall was in the installation process - it is difficult to figure out how to set the product up and it ended up stuck in Turkish - took me about an hour to figure it out after some internet searching - apparently a common problem. Overall, I am very pleased with this monitor and would recommend it for the quality and the great price - thanks PC Connection - speedy shipping too!
