Reviews & Ratings for 15-Minute Battery Charger with (2) NiMH AA/(2) AAA Batteries
I have this product and it is extremely convenient. My brother uses the same device for work on a daily basis, but I'll talk about my experience. My brother took the Energizer batteries that came for it and I use non-name brand rechargeable batteries.
I primarily use AA batteries for my xbox controller. It is convenient because this takes up a small part of my desk. Also, the 15 minute charge time is very ideal. I think my generic batteries drain faster than the Energizer, but it's hard to compare.
I do use the AAA Energizer batteries for remote controls, so when they die, I have fully recharged batteries in just 15 minutes.
There are some things I don't like, but could just be my unit or batteries:
Sometimes the LED will keep blinking and the fan will keep running well after 15 minutes. That means it's not charging. I don't know if it's the batteries, but I'm assuming it is. I just take them off the cradle and put them back in. The probably occurs rarely and I'm usually right there when they're charging.
Overall: Definitely a great purchase if you go through batteries often.
