I bought these cables some time ago now, and gladly so. My "old" iPod has center button problems, so I use it pretty much just for the TV and Bose dock. I also got a remote with my cables which adds even more convenience. Honestly, if you have the extra money, you won't regret it at all. As far as use with the TV, I haven't the space even for a small DVD player, but with the cables and "little dock" we all see, you can't get any more smaller or more portable for your videos or movies. Get It!
