Looking for a way to connect your serial devices to a USB port on your PC? The Keyspan "High Speed" USB Serial Adapter is a simple, inexpensive, and reliable way to make this connection. The adapter is ideal for use with modems, digital cameras, ISDN terminal adapters, graphics tablets, PDAs, bar code scanners, label printers and other serial devices which require an RS-232 connection. It plugs into a USB port on a Windows or Macintosh computer and provides one male DB9 port for direct connection to serial devices. A 3-foot USB cable is included.
This "High Speed" USB Serial Adapter supports data rates up to 230Kbps, twice the speed of a standard PC serial port. It is 100% USB compliant and features simple "Plug and Play" installation (no IRQs). Ideal for laptops, the adapter draws its power from the USB connection so no power adapter is required.

Reviews & Ratings for High Speed USB Serial Adapter, USA-19HS I purchased a 9-pin footpedal and needed an adapter because the some of the newer computers do not have the necessary USB ports. I searched everywhere and, needless to say, bought an adapter at Radio Shack. I learned my lesson, as there are a lot of places out there that will tell you this particular adapter will work, but in the end it will not. I would recommend this product to medical transcriptionists who may want to update their computer and find out the USB port needs an adapter. THANK YOU PC CONNECTION.

Installation instructions were very clear, and installation was simple. After installing the Adapter, I installed the tablet. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Performance is very good. I notice no difference in the way the tablet performs when connected to my notebook than when it is connected to my desktop computer.
