Reviews & Ratings for Playstation 3 Console 80GB I waited a while to purchase a PS3, and am glad I did. The 80 gig hd gives me plenty of room for downloadable games and content, and the improved features were great. I don't care so much about the loss of backwards compatability. I kept my PS2 for playing PS2 games. What I do care about is what an excellent gaming console this is! The menu reminds me of a computer OS. It gives you the ability to back up and restore a HD image to an external drive (excellent for not losing DL games and saves if it ever crashes), multiple user logins for preferences and game settings, an Internet browser, and a ton more. The newer dual shock/six axis controllers are great too. I can power up and shut down a controller or the console remotely, the motion sensors work well, and the rumble is intense considering it is wireless! Motorstorm 2, Little Big Planet, and MK vs DC Universe are all keeping me quite pleased :) The library of DL games like Street Fighter 2 remix, Wipeout HD, and Pixle Junk Eden were excellent additions as well. I am sooo glad I finally got one (and not a 360)!
