Reviews & Ratings for 500GB FreeAgent Desk USB 2.0 External Hard Drive As hard drives continue to be refined, they get, well, more refined. This is a good example - sleek, quiet, and cool.
This has been a reliable drive with good read and write speed. It looks pretty nice and is quite thin so it doesn't take up much room when used horizontally or vertically. It is also very quiet - often quieter than an internal drive in a desktop. Sustained read and write session barely make the case warm - good heat dissipation. Another quality product from Seagate.
