Features abound in this version of Toast Titanium, ranging from compatibility with EyeTV recordings, Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats, and exporting to many popular formats.

There are some new themes and graphics for DVD menus which are pretty nice, but you can drag and drop your own image for use as a background - a nice feature!

The ability to burn Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats onto standard DVD media is terrific - blank Blu-ray discs are still hugely expensive, and you can get about 20-30 minutes of HD footage onto a regular DVD.

You might wonder why you'd want the ability to burn HD-DVD onto regular DVDs these days, as HD-DVD has been vanquished by Blu-ray as the next media format. Did you know Apple's DVD Player app can play back an HD-DVD formatted standard DVD in high-definition? I didn't, but it can, and now that I know, it's a great way to share HD movies with friends and family. The included Toast Video Player can also play back the Blu-ray formatted discs.

Many options for data and audio discs are included as well, along with compression and exporting technologies, making this a very complete disc-authoring solution.
